I'm doing a bunch of "first"s these days, first time to blog in English as I'm moving in my English improvement plan. First time to travel all alone and guess what ?! I did it well, didn't get kidnapped or robbed ! First time to participate in a contest and join an event as one of the team ! and got my first Mother's day gift !! no no not from koko her gift today for me was a little bit different than expected as she is crying continuously from the minute she woke up and opened her eyes till the moment of writing this post.. Ah back to my gift ! it was given by the sweet superMama's founders and yes, the list of things I
owe them is growing rapidly ^_^
Back to My first Event, it was a contest held by Google and bunch of organizations I don't remember right now for the best startups in Egypt, and what is better than SuperMama I wonder ! Anyways, I went for an almost whole day leaving koko with my two heros and supporters Abo koko and Nannah Simsim ( and oh yeah, lets not forget the loving anutie Noura who managed the midday shift till nanah came home. Thank you Noura ), Although they carried the burden of the most complicated part of the whole day which is baby sitting koko, I had to worry about and manage millions of small details at home and regarding Me, koko & home arrangement instead of focusing on the event preparation and getting good sleep for the long day waiting for me
What helped me to pass the day without forgetting essentials or letting things go out of control is that I sat down the morning of the day before and wrote down a list ! Yeah ME writing a To-Do list , it is strange for a messy person like me to sit down and writing a list and it worked actually and for the first time ( TOO ) I was on time. You should ask abo koko and all the ppl I know how they suffer from my very accurate timing
It was a pretty good experience to see what important business people do and I really enjoyed being a junior "batboot" employee which every single detail of the day was a new added value to her, although the event was educational to me more than a contribution to the team i'm in, I think I did good overall or let's say I didn't do a disaster !
So the conclusion of the day is TO DO list To Do List To Do List ! and for those who are still single and free, don't waste your time my little bees it is precious !
